How Will We Cook & Eat After The Major Earthquake?

Disaster Preparedness:


At Sams/Costco they have these big boxes of plastic spoons/forks/knives for as little as $9. 


Also PAPER bowls and Plates.


The Messiah warns us to store 3 months of food/water/supplies. 


That is 90 days. 


So as we are stocking up remember we will need at least 90 paper bowls for every member of our home. 90 spoons, forks, etc.


So if we get a box of 500 spoon from Sams, Costco, or similar; for a family of 4 or 5, we are good, with plenty left over.


We always want to have extra because we never know what will happen or who is coming.


There is another great site, webstaurantstore.com where we can order many of these take out/ or to go supplies online in bulk and much cheaper.


Consider these paper soup containers with lids for our Navy Beans, bean soup, where if someone comes for food we can put it in these containers that have lids and will keep the soup warm for a while. They come in different sizes, 16 Oz, 32 Oz, ect.


They may come in handy if we have to eat on the go or we are blessed to feed others who come to us hungry who may have ran out of food. 


They can take their navy beans with them and not spill it.

There may be a period of time where we will not be able to wash dishes like we want to. Or we may be forced to evacuate and find ourselves eating on the road in hotels.


So during this period we will want to minimize the amount of dishes we accumulate because we may not be able to wash dishes for a while because of broken water main after earthquake.


Plastic eating utensils will help. 


Also PAPER plates/bowls. 


To go containers.


The paper plates/bowls can be used for fire or burned afterwards to reduce trash accumulation.


Also can be used in garden.
