Tasnim News Agency, citing informed sources, reported that after failing to rescue the pilot of the downed fighter jet over Iran, the United States is now seeking to strike and kill him.

Sources added that the Americans have abandoned efforts to locate the second pilot and are attempting to eliminate him by targeting multiple locations.

According to the sources, the situation surrounding the pilots of the downed fighter jet is expected to develop into a new scandal exposing US cover-ups and misinformation."
