⚠️ One of The Worst Feelings in The World...Prepare For Cataclysmic Heatwave & Power Outage

⚠️ One of the Worst Feelings in the world is to be stuck somewhere without electricity during a heat wave. One year, during the hottest years on record in Phoenix,  our AC broke. The temperature was from 110 to 120 every day.  And it rarely went below that.

It was so hot it was hard to even move, or to sleep. During the day when I did not have to work I went to the library where they always keep it freezing. Or I went to watch movies all day.

but during the power outage that's coming,  there will be no place to go to escape the heat because no one will have any electricity except those who prepare for the Nation wide #Blackout right now.

Even in the middle of a heatwave,  with no electricity,  our homes can be comfortable. A true place of worship during these very trying times.

🚨 “You will find HEAT from the Sun that will be so terrific that you can't breathe it, and you'll be running seeking hiding places to find a cool breeze.” Honorable Elijah Muhammad

#heatwave #DisasterPreparedness: In case of #Poweroutage during extreme heat: To cool our homes/apts down by at least 10 or more degrees cover your windows with Mylar sleeping bags.

What mylar does is reflects the suns rays, and heat, AWAY from our homes.

And the good thing about mylar is once you put it up, from the outside it looks like a mirror and no one can see inside, but we can still see outside.

Duct tape works best in putting up mylar. But do not buy the cheapest duct tape you can find.

Because it will be under considerable heat and every single cheap duct tape I've ever used dried out and broke apart like paper.

The only duct tape that I have found that lasts the entire summer in this 120 degree Phoenix heat is the Gorilla Duct tape.

When we open the bag up, cut it to fit your window, and use duct tape. It lowers our electric bills tremendously because it takes less effort to cool our homes.

Buy a couple of extra packs of mylar for every window in your home.

It will still let some light through. I double mines up to block out ALL light. If you double the mylar over your window you will not be able to see out, but it cuts the heat twice as much.

If we double up the mylar AND use a dark sheet/blanket over the window the room will be pitch black, but MUCH cooler.

Also during times of civil unrest this is good to have over our windows so we can see everything that's going on without being seen.

I dont like the mylar window covering they sell at some of these home improvement stores. I find they let in much more sun and light and heat than plain mylar sleeping bags.  And cost more than 3 times as much. It will look more professional though.

But this is dealing with a major disaster: prolonged power outage during #heatwave.

The mylar sleeping bags block out 90% of that sun, yet you can still see outside.  Mylar sleeping bags can be found on Amazon and also have them at walmart in the camping section.

If you can, buy them in bulk and they are cheaper.

Christ warns a Major Power outage is coming and we may really need these to keep our homes cooler.

Here in Phoenix where temps reach 120 degrees I use this on all the windows and it truly helps.

🚨 Get Some Fans.

During a power outage we will not be able to run AC.

But if we have a fan, we can plug it in to our solar powered generator and while that fan may not cool down your home, if you let the fan blow on DIRECTLY on you, it will help TREMENDOUSLY.

The absolute best fan I have ever used is the Lasco Wind Machine. https://www.lasko.com/products/20-inch-wind-machine-fan-3300/

I have not found a fan that blows more air harder than this fan. I've used this fan in Phoenix for years to save me from the 120 degree heat when we did not have AC. They sell them  at Walmart & Hardware stores.

I like this fan because it is big and LOUD. They call it "white noise"

This white noise will definitely come in handy after a disaster. It drowns out other noises when you are trying to sleep; arguing,  screaming and yelling, etc

On Amazon they charge nearly double what the fan costs at Wal-Mart

If we do not have a solar powered generator consider getting a power inverter or a power bank.

With a power inverter,  we can plug in our fan into the inverter,  and attach the inverter to our car battery.

If we can't get a generator or power inverter, Please consider battery powered fans.

They are not big, but during a power outage,  in brutal, stifling heat, that small battery powered fan blowing on your face may save us from snapping 😷

If we have water, some mylar to cool down the rooms, and some good fans, it won't be as bad as sitting in a place with the sun beating down on us with no air blowing at all.

If We Consider how we may keep our loved ones comfortable during the worst of times, it will go a long way in keeping the peace during some very trying times.
