🕯️The Bitterness: To Those Who Are Blessed To Leave 2023 With LESS Than They Started With
The Bible teaches us about a woman named Naomi. (In The Book of Ruth. I encourage all of us to read it)
She was a believing woman who was married with two sons. A famine came down hard on Bethlehem in Judah, where she lived with her family at the time, forcing them to leave (evacuate).
They ended up in Moab where both her sons married two Moabite women, Ruth and Orpah. Within ten years of moving to Moab her husband and both her sons died.
It was around this time Naomi heard that the Lord was providing food for His people in Bethlehem so she decided to return home.
She told Orpah and Ruth she was going back home and told them they should go back to their own Mothers houses and find someone else to marry.
Orpah bounced, but Ruth told Naomi “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God." (Ruth 1:16-18)
So Ruth stayed with Naomi on her journey back to Bethlehem.
The Bible goes on to tell us just as they made it to Bethlehem it was time for the fall harvest.
But Naomi was kind of bitter. She just lost both her sons, lost her husband, and was returning home, in her own mind, with nothing.
Naomi was angry with God, she says "I went away full, but the LORD has brought me home empty. Why call me Naomi when the LORD has caused me to suffer and the Almighty has sent such tragedy upon me?” Ruth 1:21
Once they got settled Ruth told Naomi she was going to go out to the farms and beg for whatever was dropped or left over from the harvesters. She would gather the scraps for food for Naomi and herself. So she went to this farm to plead with the overseer to let her just pick up the scraps. He told her she could.
Later on the owner of the land, a very wealthy and righteous man named Boaz, who just so happened to be a relative of her dead husband, saw Ruth out in the fields.
Long story short, Boaz told Ruth she could have whatever she wanted, fed her good, ordered his men to give her some of the crops out of what they harvested instead of her having to scrape by what she could find.
Ruth asked Boaz why he was being so nice to her, a complete stranger, and he told her “I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband—how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before….May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.” Ruth 2:11-12
In the end Boaz married Ruth and she had a son. "And they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David." Ruth 4:17
Very soon tens of millions of people in America will be forced to flee for their lives from the destruction God will bring to the coastlines of America.
The Exalted #Christ: The Honorable Elijah Muhammad warns Most of those evacuated will be forced to the center of the country. Some may flee into Canada, some Mexico.
Some of us may take in the refugees, or those evacuated, into our homes in the near future.
Some may take one person, some may take in a family, some may take in many families.
Allah will watch how we treat those who may come to us for help.
When we go back and study the Flight (#Hijrah) of the believers (1,400 years ago) from #Mecca to #Madinah, study how they were treated when they got there. We will have an example of how we should treat those who come to us. All of them did not go at the same time.
Some fleeing the destruction of their cities may come with nothing, with everything they had destroyed.
If we have room we should make room now.
Christ teaches If a $Muslim has a bowl of bean soup, his brother or sister has half that bowl. This is not a slogan, its divine law.
Not using baby language, Christ teaches #Navybeans is one of the BEST foods we can eat, We want for our Brothers and sisters what we want for ourselves.
We should look at or treat any one who comes to us as a Blessing.
Throughout the Bible and Holy Qur'an we are taught how Messengers and Servants of God had to Evacuate or flee from one place to another. Not out of fear, but Allah sometimes moves us with calamities to where He wants us.
With Lot and his followers they had to flee before Allah destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.
Some of us will soon have to flee where we live because of the destruction God will bring down on America.
And some may be blessed to take us in.
"And whoever flees in Allah’s way, he will find in the earth many a place of escape and abundant resources. And whoever goes forth from his home fleeing to Allah and His Messenger, then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful." Holy Qur'an 4:100
We must ALWAYS be prepared to Evacuate. Everyone should have a #gobag.
Your Go Bag is your own personal thing. I can only suggest what you may need.
But different parts of the country will need different items.
If we live in colder states, in the winter we may want to add hats, gloves, sweaters, etc.
At the change of every season we want to go through our bags and change up.
Because on That day, there will be no time to pack, there will only be time to move.
And we might be outside for a while.
Include:
