⚠️ UPDATE:  Stock Up Now On Extra Pain Medication: We May Have to Treat Family/Friends With VERY SERIOUS INJURIES

While We don't like taking any kind of medication, we must have some type of pain medication stored in our first aid kit. Enough to last a while.

Because after The Major Earthquake we may have to treat family/friends with very SERIOUS INJURIES (Broken arms, legs, severe cuts, burns) that do not heal overnight.

And that pain can be unbearable.

Have you ever been in the presence of someone who was hurt in some kind of way and all you could think about was how could you help this person?

It's like when we see someone suffering, we feel duty bound to find a way to help them in any way we can.
Maybe that's why we love those hospital shows?

But what do we really know how to do?
Can we treat bad cuts or burns?
Do we know basic first aid?
Can we stop a heavy bleeding?
Can we set a broken bone?
Do we know how to treat head wounds and concussions?
Do We know how to treat sprained or broken ankles?
Do we have the equipment and First aid supplies to do so?
All of this we can learn from the comfort of our homes on YouTube.

What if After the Major Earthquake you had to treat 5 of your family members for bad cuts, changing their dressing every day for five days, do you have enough supplies to be sure all of them would live, free from infections and amputation?

The Major Earthquake will soon be here. There will be many hurt. And if we sacrifice now, we may be in a position to help our suffering people tomorrow.

And Consider these words from The Honorable Elijah Muhammad warns, "BEWARE. There will be Many OTHER earthquakes. They will happen ANYWHERE -- ILLINOIS and in other states, cities and towns--
NOT California alone."

⚠️ After Destruction, IF You Are Hurt, How Long Will You Survive? What's in your First Aid Kit?

⚠️ Scripture warns the destruction God Will Soon Unleash on America will not hit just the wicked disbelievers only.

Some of us may have our homes destroyed.  Some of us may find ourselves digging ourselves out of debris.

Crushed cement, bricks, splinters from steel, glass, & wood can cause very large wounds on us.

We Must Prepare for this now.

Some of us may find ourselves with busted up hands, knees... deep cuts on our arms, head.

Imagine standing in your living room one second, and the next you are climbing out of your basement.

We may not have running water at this time. That is why it is so important to store water for first aid as well.

Now Imagine climbing out from your basement,  covered in dust, debris from glass and bricks covering you. And you see the blood pouring down your arm, or leg, or head.

You are going to have to CLEAN that wound and treat it.

What's in your First Aid Kit?

Band aids won't cut it.

Do you have enough rolled gauzed to treat head, arm, leg injuries for several people in your family?

Band Aids won't cut it.

We are going to need a LOT of Gauze. Medical Tape. Rolled Gauze. Ace Bandage Wrap.

Practice treating injuries now. Watch first aid videos.

Because after this Major Earthquake strikes destroying many cities in America in Seconds...

As we climb up out of these mountains of debris, or dig loved ones out, we may find ourselves with minor injuries, minor cuts and scrapes that if left untreated,  can lead to amputation and death.

🚨 Some of the injuries we may find ourselves treating after The Major Earthquake are sprained ankles, back injuries.

Injuries to head, hands, & Arms.

I've seen a few alerts warning pain relievers may soon be hard to find in the stores.

While we may try to stay away from the enemies pharmaceuticals, after a Major Earthquake or Disaster we are going to need something to help with the pain of the victims.

Stock up on several different types of pain killers (Ibuprophen, Aleve, Acetaminophen) because some pain relievers works better on certain injuries/ailments than others.

For example,  for back pain/sprain, some say Aleve works better, longer, for severe back pain.

Stock up on some kind of sleep aid that may help those who have been injured sleep.

⚠️ Have a case or 2 of water especially for #FirstAid.

Keep it separate from the other water or keep it near your first aid supplies to use for rinsing wounds, giving/taking pain medication.

When the destruction starts some of us will need more N95 masks.

Make sure we are re stocked up on those.

If you are just starting out putting a first aid kit together the main thing you want to get is "Gauze."

They have the square Gauze Pads and the Rolled Gauze.

Both work well for many different types of injuries.

Depending on where the wound is, the wrap around gauze (rolled) is easier to apply on yourself if you are single.

There have been times when I had no medical tape I would put the Gauze pad over the wound then wrapped it up with the rolled Gauze

Or on injuries near the elbow or around the Head, etc.

If you get "Gauze Pads", try to get from Medium to Large pads. Very big. This way, if you do find yourself with a small cut, you can cut the gauze down to size to fit the wound. (Or just fold it over for added absorption)

But if you have a very big wound, and all you have is very small gauze pads......

You understand where I am going?

You will end up using many small gauze pads to cover the wound.

If you get "Gauze Pads", it will be a good thing to get medical tape. In a pinch, you can use any kind of tape to hold the gauze pad on there.

But medical tape will be better on your skin when it's time to change the dressing.

I've also found that the black electrical tape works well with the skin as well. In a pinch you can use that.

For under $10, you can get some really good medical scissors to cut away fabric from the wound or to cut the tape. (they will not puncture the skin)

Medical scissors are not a must.

Just Something to think about. You may find yourself in a situation where removing the clothing to get to a wound is impossible, and you will have to cut the clothing away to treat the wound.

With medical scissors you wont risk cutting the

Many ask whether they should get "Sterile" or non sterile gauze.

Buying "Sterile" gauze pads will not hurt. But it really doesn't matter because In that "Disaster" emergency situation, the moment you open the gauze, and touch it with your hand, it is no longer sterile.

Yes in hospital situations, where everything is supposed to be a sterile environment, you want sterile gauze.

But in an emergency situation, it just wont matter. So don't worry about whether you gauze is sterile or not.

But remember, if you are tending to more than one person.

Wash your hands after each victim.

That's one reason I urge all of us to keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in our first aid kits.

Even if you are wearing gloves, take the gloves off after each patient, wash your hands, and put on new gloves.if you are at home and you are treating injured people we can mix a little bleach in water and use that to wash our hands after each victim.

I get all of my first aid supplies off of Amazon.com. I find it is always much cheaper than any one of the drugstores.

Costco has alot of great bulk first aid supplies.

Keep a few bottles of Neosporin or equivalent no name brand in your first aid kits.

Sisters, you can put together a mini first aid kit in your purse. Just get a nice ziplock bag, but some gauze, Neosporin,  and tape in it, and drop it in your purse. Now you are always in a position to be of service.

I've found that Cayenne Pepper is excellent at stopping Bleeding. I had a nasty cut across my hand years ago that would not stop bleeding and I dumped Cayenne Pepper right into the cut. Seconds later the bleeding stopped.

Read some reports online about how great Cayenne pepper works and put some in your first aid kit

Don't use rubbing alcohol on any wound. It kills alot of the cells that are trying to close up that wound.

The only thing rubbing alcohol is good for in an emergency situation is to sterilize equipment.

A wound can be rinsed out with a little soapy water. And if there is no soap, just plain water is sufficient.

⚠️ While We don't like taking any kind of medication, we must have some type of pain medication stored in our first aid kit. Enough to last a while.

And that pain can be unbearable.

Have you Considered watching a few first aid videos on you tube?

We should learn how to treat people who are in shock. Look it up on YouTube as well as basic First Aid and CPR.

Most Fire Departments in America teach this for free. Look into that.

Also, the Red Cross has many different classes on first aid and Disasters. There is a charge for them, but it is worth it.

There is a book that EMT's study from during their training.  We should all try to have that in our homes. We can find them used, very cheap on Amazon.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
