🕯 Learn About The Icemakers: Power Outage - Cold Milk

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us in How to Eat to Live to try and eat our food, our meals, on the day we make it and to try and not eat "Left-overs" the next day or week or what not.

⚠️ Of course he was not talking about our wheat bread which he warns us to never eat on the same day we bake it because it is not good for our stomach.

But in dealing with our meals, Navy beans, rice, etc. In times of comfort and ease when we have electricity and refrigerators, running water with containers to put so much "Left overs" its much easier to cook large batches of food and save those left overs in the freezer or fridge.

But I want to encourage us in the time that is left to practice measuring out the exact amount each person in your family usually eats and make just enough for that meal.

Because WHEN the power goes out due to disaster,  earthquake, weapons of war, and we have no running water, we are going to want to conserve as much of our stored water as we can.

So some of us may use plastic utensils that we can dispose of after every meal.

⚠️ IF we stock up on to go cups,  paper bowls/plates, we can literally just throw away everything we use to eat and drink with after every meal. For months.

And if we measure everything just right, the only thing we will need to wash after every meal is what we used to cook with.

⚠️ BEFORE the prices really go up I want to encourage all of is to go out and get at least one really good COOLER.

Do a little research first. And find the BEST cooler for what we are trying to do and a cooler the right size for your family. A family of 4 or larger you are going to want a larger cooler.

Some of us already have a cooler. If you do, and it's a few years old, consider getting a new one.

What do we need a really good cooler for?

When the power goes out, after the second day our refrigerators will be pretty much useless. And Most of what we currently have in our refrigerators right now will either have to be cooked or thrown out.

Most of us when we think of our coolers we think of parties, picnics, camping trips where we went in and out of the coolers and the ice lasted maybe a day or two.

Those are not the types of coolers I'm talking about.

There are coolers that advertise keeping the ice up to FIVE Days and Longer. These are the types of coolers we should get.

Some of us may have the opportunity to get a very large 120qt cooler but the cooler can only keep the ice for a day, if that.

But then there's another cooler maybe half that size, but double the price. But it keeps the ice 5 days or more. This one is the better buy.

Back when the East Coast Black out hit the very first thing that sold out in STORES was ice.

Then water.

So why am I trying to get us to buy Really expensive coolers to keep ice for?

Well I like to keep my milk cold. 😅

If We are stocking up like we have been warned for the past few years, WHEN Disaster strikes, and the power goes out, while most people will be rushing to the stores, we will make a quick trip to the nearest Ice manufacturer in your area. 😳

Yes, In most cities in America,  there are companies and all they do is MAKE ICE to sell to the stores. 🥶

Just google "Ice Manufacturer or Maker or Company NEAR ME"

And you will see things like:

And some of these ice companies have even been preparing for disaster too, so they have back up power to keep making ice for a good while after the power goes out.

So if you google these companies now, save the information, learn where they are, even go buy a few bags of ice just to meet the people who work there, THEN, During that time, You will be a known customer to the ice makers.

Back to the coolers. Sure, you could go to the dollar store and buy a cheap Styrofoam cooler. It will work.

Just buy a LOT of ice. Because it will melt fast.

The ideal temperature for milk is 37 degrees.

Between 37 and 40.

Since the power is still out at my house I had to get a cooler to keep my milk cold.

I got a Coleman 316 series cooler from Walmart.

It's a 62 qt cooler.  I fill it with ice and my milk and other stuff, and the ice lasts about a week to ten day before I have to get another bag or 2 of ice.

Of course in the summer months it will probably only keep that ice the 5 days its advertised for. But before you even go to a store and buy a cooler,  read the reviews.

Check Amazon.  They have some very nice coolers of all budgets and sizes.

Some of those really good cooler cost more than some refrigerators. 🙄

Initially, when the power first goes out it may be hard to find milk at the stores.

But if you have health food stores, flea markets, or those farmers markets anywhere near you start making contacts with those sellers now.

Ask them who sells milk from their cows.

And then. As these disasters gets worse and these stores start going down, we will still be able to get out milk, cheese, and butter.

Make those connections for the believers in your area. Make them for your family.

We are ordered to prepare by Almighty God.

But He also Promised to prepare a table for us in the midst of all this destruction.

I Thank Allah for everything I have been through these past few months to teach me and show me how to show us how to prepare for what's coming.

Please,  go and get for yourself and your family a really good cooler.

And learn about the icemakers near you.

May Allah bless us all to get what we need in the time that is left.

#Christ The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches "Milk and bread (#wheatbread) alone will us alive indefinitely, and it is the best and most easily digested food.

We have plenty of supplements for milk and bread, so eat them, but eat them only once a day.

This will reduce your doctor bill almost 90 percent, and if you eat once every two days, you will not have any doctor bills" Honorable Elijah Muhammad: How to Eat to Live Book 1
