๐ŸŒ™ If This Will Be Your First Time Fasting During Ramadan: What To Expect?

Ramadan Mubarak, Just so you know from the beginning, Ramadan is not easy.

It is not for the hypocrites, the fake at heart.

Ramadan can be difficult at times. Sometimes Very difficult. Because it is you dealing with you.

It is you depriving yourself of what you want.

And while some things may not be as hard for you as it is for others, Allah has prepared for each of us what we will experience to strengthen us where we are weak.

๐ŸŒ™ During Ramadan we do not eat or drink anything while it is Daylight outside.

You will find that we can use Google as a guide to tell us the time the sun rises and sets every day.

But it is only a guide, because it will tell you the sun sets at a certain time but there will still be light outside for 30 more minutes.

And we don't eat or drink anything until it is COMPLETELY DARK outside.

If we are married: we do not have sexual relations with our spouse while the sun is up.

๐ŸŒ™ Ramadan causes us to deprive ourselves to become closer to God.

I warn us now because we may see all these "happy, merry, super positivity" posts about Ramadan but that may not be your experience.

Yes, We are truly Blessed if we participate.

And if you are new to Ramadan and fasting for the first time, you may think something is wrong with you because while you are fasting, sometimes you may be feeling pissed off and want to curse๐Ÿคฌ.

But all these posts are proclaiming happiness, flowers, unicorns, and cherries.

No it's not just you.

Because Ramadan can be painful at times.

Emotionally, Physically Painful: Things may come up to frustrate the hell out of us.

Ramadan is uncomfortable at times.

๐ŸŒ™ Ramadan can have you crying tears of UNIMAGINABLE sadness one moment, the next you can't stop laughing.

It's like this insane emotional rollercoaster. You will feel bi polar.

Another of the rules of Ramadan is NO CURSING/PROFANITY.๐Ÿคซ

That alone should be enough to warn us how hard this could be.

And I don't care if you were born in a home where there was never any cursing and you never heard profanity in your life, during Ramadan...๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ

๐ŸŒ™ Like I warned, Ramadan can be Tough at times.

And don't believe those dumb memes, people eating in front of someone fasting during the day may be the LEAST hardest thing we face.

Those with younger children cook for the babies with no problems.

Someone could eat in front of a fasting Muslim for ten hours straight and it really wouldn't bother us. BUT, if you started talking to us, that may be hard to take.๐Ÿค

⚠️ Sometimes It is very hard for someone who is fasting to communicate with someone who is NOT fasting.

Sure, we CAN talk to you.

But spiritually speaking, we'd rather not.

Why not?

Because at this time, we have nothing in common. We are on two different planes of existence and I'd rather not talk to you if you are not fasting. Sorry.๐Ÿคซ

For example,  you may be thinking about making corrections in your life that you have been putting off for a long time. But your friend who is not fasting wants to talk about the game or the girl across the street...

Am I speaking evil or down about Ramadan? No Sir, No Ma'am.

๐ŸŒ™ Am I trying to discourage us from fasting During Ramadan? Absolutely not. In fact, I'm encouraging all of us who are able, to go on this fast.

If you are seeing this AFTER Ramadan has started, and you haven't started the fast, START NOW.

And if you've messed up a few days, keep going and make them up later.

In my introduction, if you read it again, and if you substitute the word RAMADAN for EXERCISE, and IF this article was about what to expect during exercise, would you think I'm talking bad about exercise?

Look at it again.

Of course not. You'd thank me for the warning of what's coming, and start working out.

Some are out there and they are not fasting, but they are pretending to fast, and posting crazy things that make absolutely no sense during Ramadan.

And Satan definitely does not want us fasting right now at this time as Messiah @LouisFarrakhan is encouraging all of us to REPENT of the EVIL we have done BEFORE God Unleashes His Wrath on America and this Evil World.

The wicked does not want us encouraging others to fast at this time.

Be careful of the hypocrites and agents who love to tell you how they broke their fast for that particular day and now they have to make it up.

If you have any hypocrites in your circle, they are coming. And it'll be like this, always in a joking manner, "Whew I got so weak today, I just had to blah blah blah BECAUSE I had a yada yada.."

And you have a lovely heart, you'll feel sorry for them, but the next day you look up and you are doing exactly what they said they did using the same justification they gave you.

"The serpent was more subtle than any beast in the field."

The Minister warns they have their highest paid, best trained agents on us right now. They do not want us to be successful THIS YEAR for Ramadan.

You'll see alot of dumb Satanic memes and articles saying "You've been sinning all year and NOW you want to try and fast?"

Well YES!

๐ŸŒ™ If you are trying to SURVIVE, if you want to live, why would we not try for The Mercy of God? We should try for His Mercy Every Day. Fasting During Ramadan Gives Us Access To God's Mercy and Forgiveness

That's like saying someone with bad eating habits shouldn't go to the hospital if he's having chest pains...

Any time we turn from this evil and wicked world back to Allah is a good time.

Well, let's start fasting.

And just so you know, Our Breath will Smell Terrible.

I mean awful๐Ÿคฎ And there's absolutely nothing we can do about it.

We can't eat mints or cloves.

We can't put anything in our mouths that starts digestion, nothing.

During Covid, I thank Allah He has us all locked down, and it's now mandatory that our nose and mouths be covered.๐Ÿ˜ท How Merciful is that?

Because the breath will be brutal...

But of course we are going to forget, and we are fasting, and try to talk to someone, and the moment your breath hits their nose, you will see the shock in their eyes.๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜ณ

๐ŸŒ™ When we are fasting we are on an emotional rollercoaster. Nothing we can do about it but keep praying, talking to Allah.

Keep reading the Holy Qur'an And pay attention to what you are feeling and thinking about. These are the things Allah is bringing up out of us to deal with.

๐ŸŒ™ Fasting is for Purification of the Mind, Body, and soul. Purification is NOT easy.

Fasting is for Allah. We are fasting to become closer to Him. And that is not easy.

There may be pains in all kinds of places, joints.

I'm no doctor, and I'm sure there is a reason for it. I'm just warning you it's coming.

You may feel like you sprained your knee, or your back, or dislocated your shoulder, and it's going to hurt.

If you don't have to leave the house, just take it easy during Ramadan. If you are feeling pains, just relax, let it pass, and slow down.

Sometimes You will hardly be able to sleep at night.

It doesn't matter what you do, you'll be up. So spend that time in extra prayer. Reading the Quran, studying.

You will have sudden bursts of energy.

You will feel like you can wash every car on your block.

It's a trick. Don't fall for it.

Go for a walk or something.

Because that energy is going to wear off, and then it's crash and burn time. You may sleep for 8 hours during the day because We are not sleeping at night so we have to get it in somewhere.

๐ŸŒ™ DURING RAMADAN: WHEN IS IT TIME TO EAT & DRINK? We Do Not Eat Until It's DARK Outside.

I remember one year in Phoenix during the Time and What Must Be Done Series was being recorded. The Minister had just wrapped up another episode and the sun had SET.

Meaning it was still a little light out.

So he comes into the room and everyone was drinking and eating.

He's like, "What are you all doing?"

Pin drop...๐Ÿ˜ณ

Someone said, "well the sun set."๐Ÿ˜‘

And he said, "We Don't Eat Until its DARK outside!!!"

There may be days where you go to sleep early, barely drinking anything, sleep late, and you wake up in the morning and the sun is already up.

๐ŸŒ™ Don't even worry, the body can go a LONG TIME WITHOUT WATER. Don't Break Your Fast Because You Overslept. Just hold off and drink when it gets DARK

I fast several times a year for 7 days not eating or drinking anything. (#dryfasting)

You don't have to break your fast because you didn't drink anything or very little the day before. Just take it easy until it gets dark.

Sometimes we get kinda full so we don't drink enough water. So we will start itching in the craziest places because our skin may become very dry.

Stock up on extra whatever you use to moisturize your skin.

There is a whole lot of other stuff that comes up while fasting but time and space is limited.

I just wanted to reassure to those new to fasting that it's not just you.

And no you're not doing it wrong.

๐ŸŒ™ If you have any questions about fasting feel free to DM me here or (lastcall2repentance@gmail.com) and forward this on to all your friends and family. So that even if they are not fasting they can have some ideas of how you are doing.

And Brothers, NEVER EVER ask a Sister how her fast is going.

Just say Ramadan Mubarak.

Thank me later๐Ÿ˜Ž

Oh one last thing, The Holy Quran. We have to read the Quran during Ramadan. It's broken down into 30 parts. We read one part a day.

At the end of 30 days, we would have read the entire Quran.

But, sometimes we fall behind. Sometimes we fall WAY behind.

For example, say we are on part 10, but the last part you read was 3๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Yes, you are kinda behind. And looking at it from back there, its kinda easy to give up.

Dont do that. There is a better way.

Just start from part 10. Write down the last page you read in part 3, mark it, and you know, over time, you have to get caught up with those pages.

But stay current with the present days reading from now on. And in your spare time, go back and read the pages you marked.

๐ŸŒ™ And Think About Trying HIBISCUS TEA

HIBISCUS TEA

Have you ever heard of Hibiscus Tea? I never really drink tea but I learned about this one year during Ramadan.

I find during Ramadan we don't drink as much coffee as we normally do. And I love it when we want something different to drink at night that doesn't keep us up all night, consider Hibiscus tea. Iced or hot.

It also helps us sleep.

When you get a free minute, Google Health Benefits of Hibiscus Tea.

It's a favored drink of Muslims around the world during Ramadan

MOST Middle Eastern stores sell Hibiscus leaves. And most Mexican stores sell it as well under the Jamaica leaves.

While the enemy sells hibiscus tea bags, finding the actual leaves and making our own tea is cheaper and better.

I also put a recipe at the bottom or you can just google hibiscus tea recipe
